Terms of Service

Last updated: May 10, 2026

Agreement

By using Cabinet, you agree to these terms. Cabinet is operated by Cabinet Inc. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

What Cabinet does

Cabinet is an AI decision tool. You provide a question; Cabinet runs a structured deliberation across multiple AI personas (advisors, a Devil's Advocate, a synthesizer) and returns a recommendation plus drafted artifacts (emails, docs, sheets, slides). When you connect Google Workspace, Cabinet can deliver those artifacts directly into your Drive and Gmail.

Cabinet's output is for your consideration. It is not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take.

Your account

You must be at least 18. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@getcabinet.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Cabinet to:

  • Violate any law or third-party right.
  • Generate or distribute illegal, harmful, harassing, deceptive, or fraudulent content.
  • Reverse engineer Cabinet, scrape its outputs, or attempt to extract our prompts or model weights.
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize Cabinet's output as a substitute for the service itself.
  • Probe, scan, or load-test the service without prior written consent.
  • Use Cabinet to make decisions in regulated contexts (medical, legal, financial, employment) without independent human review and applicable professional oversight.

Subscription, billing, and credits

Cabinet is offered as a paid subscription. Pricing and the included Decision Credits per period are shown at checkout and in your Billing tab. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.

Decision Credits are the unit Cabinet uses to meter usage. Each council run consumes one credit. Credits reset to your tier limit each time Stripe successfully bills your subscription. Unused credits do not roll over. If a council fails due to a service error, the credit is automatically refunded to your balance.

Refunds for paid periods are at our discretion and only for documented service failures or duplicate charges. Email hello@getcabinet.io to request one.

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to Cabinet (the questions, context, and any data you paste in) and to the artifacts Cabinet generates for you. You grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you submit, including any data about third parties.

AI output and accuracy

Cabinet's output is generated by AI models and may contain errors, hallucinations, or out-of-date information. We make no warranty that outputs are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Verify before acting on anything material.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice for material changes that affect paying users.

Termination

You can stop using Cabinet at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or other users. On termination, we delete your data within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain it.

Disclaimer of warranties

Cabinet is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cabinet's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
